Business Analyst

Eagle currently has a career opportunity for a Business Analyst and we are looking to speak to qualified candidates with the skills and experience outlined below.

This position is a 12-month contract to start in March.

Key Business Analyst Skills

  • Must have 5+ years of overall experience in actual Business Analysis, Product Lead and/or Project Management roles, using traditional and agile methods. Prior experience should include a proven track record of delivering outcomes in security projects across people, process, tech/solution and info, in both prem and cloud security ecosystems.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving – strong in processes modelling, requirements gathering techniques and cost benefits analysis
  • Proven experience planning, monitoring and reporting status on projects
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) in English
  • Strong knowledge of fundamentals of change management and stakeholder analysis.
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills

  • Personal agility and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels and manage cross-team dependencies

  • Highly motivated and effective at independent learning and knowledge development in advanced cybersecurity domains.
  • Expert user of PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Visio and other project portfolio management tools (such as Planview, Kanban boards, etc.).

As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform a business analysis services role, working closely with the EIS team, engaging with business, technology leaders, and EDC users to understand and communicate how cybersecurity requirements will impact people, process and technology within EDC
  • Support EIS leaders and team members to document business outcomes, defined team objectives and measures of success – enabling data-driven decisions: draw heavily on his/her experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from a variety of sources to create compelling written and verbal communications
  • Facilitate and support daily team huddles, program reviews and onboarding sessions for security teams
  • Maintain budget and Kanban board – making team’s work visible to individuals and stakeholders within and outside EIS
  • Liaise with stakeholders, SMEs to define program plans, monitor, report progress and manage risks and issues associated with the delivery of security services
  • Manage the team intake process and triages/monitors work assignments to ensure team SLAs are met.
  • Perform quality reviews for team deliverables, including documenting and executing “user acceptance” tests, as needed
