IT Project Manager

Eagle is currently seeking a IT Project Manager for a permanent job opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Project planning, oversight, and delivery;
  • Leading the team, ensuring that every project meets the stated budget, schedule and scope requirements while engaging the various stakeholders from within the team and our business groups;
  • Either owning and executing the deliverables of their own projects or supporting their team in completing deliverables within their projects;
  • Leading the collaborative, dynamic planning process prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team;
  • Defining or reviewing project objectives, business cases and scope of deliverables for the collection of projects assigned;
  • Partnering with the business and IT to recommend options and paths forward on various initiatives;
  • Organizing and tracking portfolio of projects data, tasks, KPIs, and deliverables;
  • Effectively leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of high performing and technical team members;
  • Working closely with Technical Lead and software development team members to ensure consistent delivery of custom developed software or third-party solutions;
  • Encouraging and enforcing Business Analysis, Project Management, and Change Management best practices fit for the environment;
  • Staying on top of the latest technologies and demonstrate creativity in finding solutions;
  • Analyzing the company's technology needs and propose solutions;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with users, peers, vendors and service providers;
  • Working with the executive leadership teams across the business to drive business value;
  • Owning and driving client issues to effective resolution;
  • The successful execution of all projects within their purview; and,
  • Eliminating roadblocks for team members and ensure timely progress to project tasks.
Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:
  • A University or College Degree with at least ten (10)  years of experience as a practitioner in Project Management, Business Analysis, and Change Management;
  • At least five (5) years of people leadership experience with a focus on hiring and developing top talent;
  • Five plus (5+) years’ experience in Agile methodologies;
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs with the ability to improve delivery practices;
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, web technologies, and ERP systems;
  • Proven experience in project team and resource management;
  • Microsoft technology stack experience with SharePoint, Power Automate being valuable;
  • Knowledge of ERP systems specifically on components like HR, Account, and CRM;
  • Previous experience in leadership/management role;
  • Experience working in/with custom software development;
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst with some Change Management;
  • The ability to be hands-on when required to deliver key projects;
  • The ability to navigate teams where there isn't traditionally a lot of formalized processes;
  • Project Management, Scrum, Business Analysis, and Change Management Certifications are an asset;
  • Knowledge of real estate management is an asset;
  • A solid understanding of Custom Software Development;
  • Experience eliciting and documenting requirements as well as develop and execute required test scenarios;
  • Process documentation and modelling experience;
  • Proficiency in tools such as Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online, MS TEAMS;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, flowcharting software, and project management software (i.e. MS Visio, MS Project);
  • Experience setting and managing multiple high priorities and multi-task effectively;
  • Experience leading teams through problem solving and decision making;
  • Experience handling stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism;
  • Demonstrated experience with industry standard consulting practices, methodologies and tools;
  • Excellent customer facing skills with strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Expected to explain and demonstrate applied thought leadership to concepts by adapting the style and content of the message to the audience;
  • A proven ability to challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders to deliver outcomes that are best for the client;
  • Flexibility and versatility in performing assigned duties; and,
  • The ability to anticipate and build contingency plans.
