Eagle is currently seeking a Senior Client Support Technician for a permanent job opportunity.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of active technical support experience or professional training equivalent to Bachelor of Information Technology (4 years) plus six (6) years of technical support experience;
  • Knowledge and experience with current Microsoft technologies and operating systems both on-premise and cloud;
  • Experience with Professional Services Automation (i.e. Autotask PSA) and Remote Monitoring and Management (i.e. SolarWinds N-Central) tools is an asset;
  • Exposure to ITIL processes, the value of documentation and their purposes;
  • Experience with networking configuration, management and support (remote access, network edge, wireless, routing and switching technologies) using Cisco, Aruba, and/or Meraki network infrastructure;
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory services;
  • Experience with Windows desktops and Windows-based servers;
  • Experience with Virtualization technologies (i.e. Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare);
  • Experience configuring, migrating, upgrading, and supporting communication technologies (like on-premise Exchange infrastructure, Office 365, VoIP, and Skype for Business);
  • Experience with Linux;
  • Experience with Mac;
  • The ability to provide a great customer service experience;
  • Analytical thinking/problem solver with the ability to assess a situation and determine the tactical steps forward;
  • The ability to articulate technical information in a manner that is easy to understand by non-technical clients and staff;
  • The ability to communicate well, both written and verbal English;
  • Confidence in an environment where we contribute to and collaborate with multiple in-house teams;
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
  • A desire to continuously learn and improve through both work experience and training;
  • Willingness to be an active participant of a weekly on-call rotation with after-hours support responsibilities;
  • A clean and valid class 5 driver’s license; and,
  • Clear criminal record check.
