Project Manager

Eagle is currently seeking a Project Manager for a six (6) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin in September.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects within the IS department;
  • Gathering, managing, and communicating requirements that will be used to deliver strategic and operational value;
  • Engaging IS and business stakeholders and other strategic partners to support the functional design and delivery of enterprise solutions that span multiple technologies, locations, and disciplines;
  • Defining and rolling out best practices on business requirement definitions and documentation, using industry best practice, Agile tools, and techniques;
  • Consulting with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs;
  • Collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders and management to assess, select, and recommending solutions and/or alternative approaches that will achieve business goals, reduce time to market or implement, cost, scope, while achieving a high-quality deliverables;
  • Helping influence and support the strategic IS roadmap for the company;
  • Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging technology developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions;
  • Managing and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives;
  • Developing and executing communications to all stakeholders including leading and facilitating team meetings, status reports, risk identification, and impacts to scope, budget, and resources of the project;
  • Developing mitigation plans for all risks and carrying out mitigation plans as needed;
  • Executing the SDLC and/or Agile methodologies and governing processes consistently;
  • Developing and tracking the budget for all technology and\or business driven projects;
  • Creating clear and attainable project deliverables, based on project requirements, translates technical tasks into understandable tasks and milestones;
  • Managing the constraints of the project parameters (cost, time, scope, quality);
  • Overseeing creation of detailed project plan documents and task-level assignments for large, highly complex projects and office integration initiatives with cross organization well as smaller operational projects sometimes simultaneously;
  • Anticipating, evaluating, and resolving project issues, delays, and problems by utilizing project management and business expertise; and,
  • Tracking key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet conditions.
Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science;
  • Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills;
  • Seven plus (7+) years’ experience with technology projects supporting Infrastructure, ERP, and Cloud Applications working with remote stakeholders and vendors;
  • Seven plus (7+) years’ experience documenting procedures and creating technical specifications for internal technology team;
  • PMP certification is desirable;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and Visio;
  • Knowledge of and experience with various business applications and systems (SAP, SharePoint, CRM, HRIS) is an asset;
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Superb organizational skills, time management, goals setting, and task prioritization abilities;
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders and partners;
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers to gain trust;
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master new technical elements;
  • Excellent vendor management skills; and,
  • Experience managing remote projects in different time zones.
