Eagle is currently seeking an IT Salesforce Project Manager for a four (4) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Creating a project plan with clear articulation of business outcomes including desired business outcomes and service level agreements, the metrics to confirm success of those outcomes and the identification of key underlying assumptions, business and technology risks, necessary prerequisite initiatives, required supporting actions and intermediary outcomes;
  • Determining organizational and financial feasibility of the project, including the completion of the business case as appropriate;
  • Resolving issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and resolve minor project issues;
  • Acting as escalation point for potential conflicts between direction and project constraints;
  • Managing project scope/requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions;
  • Providing consulting and guidance on project initiatives including business case preparation and developing creative/alternative approaches to problem resolution;
  • Promoting innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices;
  • Supervising project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis;
  • Creation of a team, outline individual responsibilities and provide on-going direction;
  • Providing leadership the Project Team and maintains the momentum of the Project against background of changing and occasionally conflicting priorities;
  • Managing ongoing communication of project status, completing the monthly Project Status Reports and escalating issues to the stakeholders, Sponsor(s), and senior management, as required;
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
  • Managing Budgets including software and resourcing;
  • Identifying resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities;
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
  • Reviewing deliverables prepared by team before passing to client;
  • Effectively applying methodology and enforces project standards;
  • Preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;
  • Identifying and managing project risk;
  • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately; and,
  • Reviewing the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent, an MBA would be an asset;
  • A PMP certification is an asset;
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience managing medium to large sized projects;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience managing IT projects dealing with Software Development (SDLC);
  • Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM with end-to-end implementation experience;
  • integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools;
  • Experience working within an established PMO process;
  • Experience managing third party implementation vendors;
  • Experience managing third party support vendors General Project/Practice Related Competencies Project/Practice Management;
  • Experience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background;
  • Understanding of the stages of a proof of concept of Salesforce into a production environment;
  • Experience in creating budgeting proposals;
  • Experience in creating and completing RFP proposals;
  • Experience managing and working with multiple stakeholders within a matrix environment;
  • Experience following project management best practices and methodologies within the Higher Education or similar industry;
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills;
  • The ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals;
  • Advanced knowledge of project metrics including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics;
  • The ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis;
  • Advanced user proficiency with computer software, such as MS Office, MS Project and/or Visio;
  • Advanced understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture;
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong customer service, interpersonal, and analytical skillset;
  • Creative problem solving skills and attention to detail;
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment; and,
  • Excellent time management supporting actions intermediary outcomes.
