Eagle is currently seeking a Senior Agile Business Analyst for a six (6) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Connecting Agile development squads with business stakeholders;
  • Delivering an exceptional product for customers and ensuring that what gets built is sustainable for the operational teams;
  • Planning and managing business readiness deliverables;
  • Gathering requirements;
  • Creating and sizing user stories;
  • Creating and documenting business processes;
  • Identifying process weaknesses and recommending efficiency improvements;
  • Performing data mapping and analysis;
  • Writing use cases and test scripts;
  • Planning and executing user acceptance and regression testing;
  • Training internal teams on new processes and systems;
  • Communicating ideas and viewpoints;
  • Mentoring junior team members; and,
  • Facilitating and participating in group discussions.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • Senior Business Analyst experience, ideally from an Agile background;
  • BA certification;
  • Seven plus (7+) years of related experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with team members;
  • Experience with Jira;
  • Experience with creating and sizing user stories;
  • Creating and documenting business processes experience (Proficiency with ARIS Connect process mapping software);
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Analysis tools and techniques;
  • Understanding of business process modeling notation and techniques, as well as process improvement methods and criteria;
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators;
  • Experience using an Agile approach to software development;
  • The ability to figure out a diverse set of options for a problem or find a way of looking at things differently;
  • Considerable customer service and task management experience;
  • The ability to train internal teams on new processes and systems;
  • The ability to mentoring junior team members;
  • Proficiency with JIRA project management software (an asset);
  • Proficiency with G Suite products (G-Mail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive) (an asset);
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (an asset);
  • Prior experience with Slack instant messaging (an asset);
  • Prior experience with Confluence, Zendesk, LucidChart, and MIRO softwares (an asset); and,
  • Previous banking experience (an asset);
