Eagle is currently seeking a Microsoft Solution Architect. This is a three (3) month, contract position scheduled to start in June.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the client’s Information Technology department and other internal stakeholders;
  • Taking a primary role to develop and implement its modern workplace strategy;
  • Assisting with the development of demos and proof of concepts;
  • Providing subject matter expertise with respect to various Microsoft technologies; and,
  • Providing implementation recommendations on Microsoft technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field preferred or has an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education;
  • Minimum seven (7) years of recent information technology experience with Microsoft infrastructure solutions;
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent experience with Microsoft 365 solutions, formerly Office 365 solutions;
  • Demonstrated experience driving innovation and value to the customer;
  • Demonstrated experience building partnerships and delivering new capabilities in support of compelling business cases;
  • Demonstrated experience implementing technical solutions to fulfill business objectives including, but not limited to, the following:
    • vendor engagements;
    • proof of concept reviews;
    • configuration, development, and implementation;
  • Ability to be a self-starter with a demonstrated reputation for learning and embracing new and disruptive technology;
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of internal team members;
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure Services, direction and evolution as related to enterprise desktop, mobile and infrastructure services. Key areas include Azure Active Directory and modern authentication architectures, Operations Management Suite and Microsoft 365;
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Intune, and Azure Active Directory;
  • Strong hands-on technical experience and deep knowledge of the following Microsoft office collaboration products and services:
    • Microsoft 365;
    • Exchange Online;
    • SharePoint Online;
    • Teams;
    • OneDrive;
    • Yammer;
    • Skype for Business IM/Presence/Meetings;
    • Power Apps;
    • Power Automate, previously Microsoft Flow, and/or Visio;
  • High-level expertise in sophisticated identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, and experience integrating those requirements into hybrid cloud solutions; and,
  • Technical enterprise-scale knowledge and experience with hybrid cloud infrastructures and the architectural design of Microsoft Office products and services.
