Eagle is currently seeking a Domain Program Manager for a permanent job opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the overall integrated schedule of projects aligned with business and technology roadmaps to develop and deploy ERP (Finance & Supply Chain) solutions;
  • Coordinating the management of multiple projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality is incorporated into all project deliverables;
  • Building and managing relationships with all stakeholders with a strong commitment to exceptional service delivery;
  • Creating and executing program communication plans to ensure all stakeholders and project resources are aligned to program level goals and objectives;
  • Promoting and demonstrating a culture of disciplined project management and ensure projects employ best practices, tools, and disciplines in alignment with the client’s Project Delivery Framework, as well as governance, risk, and compliance requirements, including budget management updates, accurate forecasting, progress reporting against milestones and diligent application of change management processes;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to oversee the tendering and awarding of system integrator/vendor/sub-trade contracts as well as manage relationships with third-party vendors assisting with delivery and support for ERP (Finance & Supply Chain) systems and associated services;
  • Building, managing, and maintaining a team of project managers, cross functional domain experts, and vendor partners to support program delivery;
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work;
  • Defining project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle;
  • Enabling a continuous improvement approach through the program and incorporate learnings to improve delivery effectiveness;
  • Participating in project management community process and procedures, supporting effective delivery of solutions; and,
  • Promoting a positive image of the client, products, and services.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A University Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities;
  • A minimum ten (10) years project experience with medium to large projects;
  • Proven Program Management skills in leading all aspects of program delivery;
  • Experience in managing programs with concurrent multiple projects of medium to large size and complexity;
  • Experience implementing solutions in a heterogeneous technology ecosystem requiring complex and multiple integration points;
  • Proven experience managing vendor partners, third party solution implementations, and contractor resourcing;
  • Proven skills in accurate budget estimation and forecasting and resource allocation management;
  • Proven ability to motivate and maintain program momentum in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong team management skills, especially working in cross-functional and geographically disparate teams;
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills and expert ability to identify risks and issues and make difficult decisions (escalating where required);
  • Strong ability to develop stakeholder relationships gaining trust and respect;
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple interests and agendas, including resolving conflicts as necessary;
  • Proven communication (reading, writing, listening, speaking, and presentation) and facilitation skills;
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment utilizing leadership, strong negotiation, conflict management, and delegation skills;
  • Technology and/or telecommunications experience an asset; and,
  • PgM, PMP and other certifications from Project Management Institute (PMI) are an asset.
