Senior Business Analysts

Eagle is currently seeking two (2) to three (3) Senior Business Analysts for six (6) month contract opportunities, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing structured (database) and unstructured (document) data to develop requirements for (as well as test and coordinate): 
    • Data and content migration between historical and future systems;
    • Application data requirements and cleanup;
    • Archival;
    • Permissions;
    • Data warehousing, reporting, and integrations;
  • Analyzing existing folders on the shared drives and develop plan for the migration;
  • Analyzing existing permission structure and build new permission model based on business and clean-up requirements;
  • Documenting data clean-up requirements and migration requirements;
  • Obtaining approvals on the new proposed permission structure for different areas;
  • Working with technical team to build migration strategy to meet the business requirements;
  • Coordinating testing to ensure content clean-up meets the requirements;
  • Working with Open Text to build strategy for Cloud CS migration;
  • Gathering archival requirements for each application and provide update on the progress;
  • Gathering data archiving requirements;
  • Performing functional testing to ensure data archival meets the requirement;
  • Coordinating testing with group to ensure data archiving meets the requirements;
  • Ensuring SAP Archiving meets the business requirements and data is accessible as per Program;
  • Coordinating testing for the SAP Archived data;
  • Keeping track of all the integration requirements and ensure solution meets those requirements;
  • Working with technical team members to test the data warehouse capabilities and build plan for the migration or integrations;
  • Coordinating with technical teams to ensure proper transfer of data in to the data warehouse;
  • Helping with migration of all the Business Object reports;
  • Creating reporting strategy by working with architect and group lead;
  • Keeping track of existing reports and how\when they are migrating into new reporting solution with new proposed application sources;
  • Configuring reports, interfaces based on the existing report requirements; and,
  • Coordinating testing of reports\integration.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidates must have:

  • A Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business and/or Computer Science;
  • Formal Business Analyst training;
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management: Content Server and SharePoint;
  • Experience with AWS technologies for data (i.e. S3, DMS, Glue);
  • Data warehousing and Data archiving experience;
  • Experience with reporting and analytics (Spotfire, Excel macros, Business Objects);
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, team environment;
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to be adaptable;
  • The ability articulate technical problems and issues using natural language; and,
  • The ability to utilize standard best practices to identify risks and risk mitigation strategies and has a key understanding of transition to operations.
