Eagle is currently seeking a Service Representative. This is a twelve (12) month contract position to start immediately in Toronto ON.

Daily Duties:

  • Responsible for carrying out timely & accurate interpretation of Canadian, U.S., and Foreign corporate actions reorganizations;
  • Responsible for reviewing and summarizing all depository bulletins associated with upcoming corporate actions events;
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication to Investment Advisors and all lines of business;
  • Process and/or fulfill transactions and perform activities in accordance with established priorities and deadlines on a timely, accurate and efficient basis;
  • Resolve discrepancies/exceptions that frequently deal with non-routine situations, requiring further analysis;
  • Process and/or fulfill transactions and perform activities in accordance with established priorities and deadlines on a timely, accurate and efficient basis;
  • Resolve discrepancies/exceptions that frequently deal with routine situations;
  • Investigate and resolve or make recommendations to more senior team members on more complex, non-routine issues relating to internal business partner and/or external customer inquiries or requests, business process efficiency and quality control within ex;
  • Enable productive relationships within the line of business (LOB) and other functions through responsiveness and support;
  • Escalate issues that require resolution by more senior team members, as per guidelines;
  • Monitor service delivery performance, production processes, and quality providing reports to the manager for the purpose of optimizing operational effectiveness;
  • Attend all team meetings.
  • Identify customer needs and matches needs with appropriate product or service, utilizing opportunities to suggest or cross-sell other bank products and services;
  • Participate in all training relative to bank products and services;
  • Support bank’s community involvement and participates in community activities as required;
  • Identify risks associated with regulatory compliance, overdraft authority, and bank secrecy act;
  • Adhere to all bank policies, directives and procedures; and,
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed for all transactions.

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent but a University degree/college diploma or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • One (1) year of Banking / Operational experience;
  • Communication is very important;
  • Analytical thinker;
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience;
  • Previous banking or FI experience*;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong Organizational skills;
  • Excellent Time management skills; and,
  • Great attention to detail.
