Technical Lead – API Development

Eagle is currently seeking a Technical Lead – API Development. This is a three (3) month contract position to start in January in Charlottetown PEI.

Summary:

The purpose of this work is to participate in a development exercise to install an integration platform, build a set of Web APIs which will access functionality corresponding to abstract processing steps and prove the concept with the delivery of web features. The requested resource(s) will form part of a multidisciplinary team of creative, collaborative, results in orient individuals working together to produce the desired result in a limited time frame.

Daily Duties:

  • The Technical Lead is a hands-on, qualified leader who will mentor and direct a team of skilled developers in delivering a complex internal product using a variety of tools and technologies. As an experienced resource, the technical lead will work closely with the other members of the project team including the solution architect, project manager, developers, and quality assurance analysts. They will ensure the development activities of the team are structured and coordinated.;
  • The technical lead will be expected to use their background and experience to offer the support, assistance, and guidance required by developers at a code level.;
  • The technical lead will be expected to understand the project from both a high-level direction and at a detailed level. They are a leader in the delivery of the project components and are responsible with the Project Manager in meeting time and budget con;

Educations & Skills:

  • The technical lead must demonstrate experience in
  • The use of an agile methodology such as Scrum;
  • Delivering multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release line management and personal development of a team of highly skilled developers;
  • understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level;
  • The technical lead must have a minimum five years’ experience in the following:  OpenID Connect, OAuth2, AuthN, AuthZ or similar, HTML, XML, XSLT, JSON, CSS, SASS, SCSS, LESS CSS, SASS, SCSS, and, LESS;
  • JavaScript and popular libraries, such as jQuery, angular  and Java/Spring-boot, PHP Symfony framework;
  • Databases including MySQL, DB2, Sybase and Oracle;
  • Version control with Git, SVN;
  • Symfony framework;
  • Version control with Git, SVN;
