Our client requires a Solution Architect with proven skills and experience who is a highly motivated individual.

This is a six (6) month contract with a top tier organization, to begin in November.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a thought leader and agent of change for the programs and services under management;
  • Mentor and establish relations across technical and architecture teams;
  • Engage stakeholders appropriately to review progress and obtain input, validation, and approval of key decisions;
  • Proactive in identifying emerging technologies and assess placement within the technology domains;
  • Analyze the architectural strategy and vision to provide consulting value-add and propose product and engagements;
  • Develop and execute the strategy as it relates to the support of related IT3.0 technology in a multi-platform environment;
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of external development, market conditions, and their impact;
  • Perform core accountabilities as a domain EA for non-LOB specific areas; and,
  • Participate as a top expert and consultant on the most high-risk and complex projects.     

What you bring to the table:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate;
  • Five (5) to ten plus (10+) years relevant experience;
  • Expert knowledge of business, architecture, technology, tools, processes, and procedures (at a broad level), as well as broader organization issues;
  • Previous experience with Digitization & Automation concepts, content;
  • Management/collaboration and workflow/BPM and tools an asset;
  • Foresight on architectural issues and gaps and can identify emerging industry trends (i.e. future focused);
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, ability to present architectural topics in business terms to IT and business staff (including executives);
  • Advanced and highly specialized knowledge of applications, programming languages, industry best practices, the business and associated standards, infrastructure, and architectural design and solutions and governance;
  • Interest and proven ability to work autonomously as an architectural specialist on high profile, complex and high-risk technology projects with significant organizational impact;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership, consulting and direction to a larger team on all aspects of architecture to ensure advanced learning occurs;
  • Foresight on architectural issues and gaps and can identify emerging industry trends (i.e. future focused);
  • Strength in influencing product direction and integrating technology from an architectural perspective within the business environment, and can fulfill an IT governance role;
  • Proactive thinking when it comes to providing recommendations on value-added architectural improvements and enhancements; and,
  • Capacity to take on one or more areas of focus (e.g. enterprise, data, application, and technology architecture domains).
