Eagle is currently seeking a Manager for Online and Mobile Banking in a permanent job opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the member-facing digital banking products;
  • Managing the analysis, design, and implementation of the online and mobile banking products;
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional program resources to ensure the successful delivery of agreed upon requirements within the digital banking applications/products and any supporting ancillary systems required to support the applications/products;
  • Providing leadership and product management expertise to the organization;
  • Ensuring the client’s digital banking products are best for their employees, members, and the organization as a whole;
  • Playing a key leadership role in the planning of strategic initiatives and digital banking priorities;
  • Ensuring the delivery, planning, stakeholder management, and business case development are aligned with our team's digital vision as well as the organizations strategic plan;
  • Working directly and in partnership with the Project Management Office (PMO), senior leadership, and business stakeholders to facilitate prioritization, gain consensus, and bring forward future innovations;
  • Ensuring that business needs and outcomes of initiatives meet expectations, by providing direct support to the PMO to ensure on time/on scope/on budget implementation;
  • Ensuring Business Requirements are clearly understood by the cross-functional Value Stream;
  • Managing the intake items and Backlog for the digital banking products;
  • Validating the functionality being delivered within the digital banking products;
  • Representing the team to the stakeholder community;
  • Ensuring all facets of the products (i.e. architecture, business processes, requirements, and results) adequately describe the envisioned business solution and are validated accordingly;
  • Participating in and leading stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring align with organizational change and business readiness;
  • Identifying key change, impact, and implications to the organizational structures, processes, roles resulting from the implementation of new initiatives and enhancements;
  • Supporting the development of appropriate strategies and action plans to communicate upcoming changes, support transition and provide support to leadership, employees, and members across the organization;
  • Ensuring requirements are traced and tracked throughout implementation; and,
  • Engaging Business Intelligence (BI) and Marketing Insights teams to support the development of data management plans and strategies as required.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience is preferred;
  • Product Management certification and/or equivalent work experience is preferred;
  • Agile experience and training;
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years digital experience, preferably within a management role;
  • Digital Banking and/or financial services experience is preferred;
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and coach technical and non-technical teams with at least five (5) years of people management experience;
  • Five plus (5) years of proven experience leading technology initiatives and complex programs with the ability to drive for results;
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • The ability to negotiate and resolve difficult and sometimes controversial issues;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to effectively communicate with individuals from various organizational functions and levels of seniority;
  • Experience with Product Management and working with UX designers and development teams;
  • Thorough knowledge of product development, effective scope planning, cost estimating, financial management, implementation, and strategic analysis;
  • Experience and understanding of financial products, member facing channels such as online, mobile, or contact center and other banking knowledge preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision;
  • Good understanding of technology, specifically enterprise software development.
