Eagle is currently seeking a Senior Project Analyst for a seven (7) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating integrated project planning working sessions and documents outcomes (i.e. update MS Project Plan, Schedule, Project Charter, etc.);
  • Preparing resource estimates and detailed integrated project plan for all phases of the project;
  • Managing (iterations) to the Project Charter;
  • Collating work stream project plans into an integrated project plan, managed updates, and racks/reports progress against the plan;
  • Identifying, measuring, and reporting on project benefits;
  • Developing mitigations and contingency plans and where appropriate, bringing stakeholders together to resolve issues/barriers;
  • Acting as an internal quality control check for the project;
  • Reviewing high-level deliverables across projects and ensures quality standards are met;
  • Preparing monthly status dashboards, reporting, and other governance materials as required;
  • Reporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities;
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery;
  • Leading process improvement initiatives through facilitation of workshops and stakeholder engagement;
  • Supporting project recruitment/resource management activities such as consultant statements of work, onboarding/off-boarding procedures, etc.;
  • Preparing materials for, and providing support, to Program Director i.e. presentation materials for governance, key stakeholder groups, etc.;
  • Other PM/BA duties as required;
  • Adherence to PMO and standards, metrics, processes, procedures, and practices;
  • Delegating appropriate tasks and responsibilities to project team resources;
  • Drafting reports, briefing notes, and other supportive documentation for higher level management and governance working groups;
  • Contributing subject matter expertise to future iterations of the business case;
  • Maintaining effective and regular communication with all stakeholders (i.e. Site Sponsors, Communications, Change teams, Application teams, Project Director, Technical teams, Workspace Technology Services team and other project streams) on all related matters;
  • Providing support to the Program Director (i.e. strategy, plan, schedule, reporting and risk/issues) to ensure ability meet required timelines and deliverables, as well as issue escalation and resolution;
  • Working cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes;
  • Working in collaboration with business readiness, application readiness, and technical solutioning teams and Workplace Technology and Services sustainment team to integrate and align planning, solutioning and readiness activities for VDI and Win 10; and,
  • Project Charter, Project Benefits Plan and other core project artifacts.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A Degree in relevant discipline and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience, or a Diploma in relevant discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, or a Certificate in relevant discipline and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience, or an absolute minimum of eight (8) years of directly related experience;
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Project Management principals, methodologies, and change management practices/trends;
  • PMP certification or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and third party vendors to establish and execute plans;
  • Experience in thoroughly integrating change management and process improvement principles into own project management style;
  • Analytical and broad-based technical knowledge/skills with the ability to think through details and tactics without losing sight of overall strategic goals;
  • Exceptional tactical and critical strategic thinking;
  • Prior experience managing IT/infrastructure projects;
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively monitor and execute project plans with stringent timelines;
  • Transformational awareness and expertise;
  • The ability to describe business outcome and benefits in layperson terms;
  • The ability to extract information and knowledge from complex sources;
  • The ability to manage multiple business stakeholders;
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment;
  • The ability to work independently and within a team, while influencing and supporting;
  • Business analysis skills and experience in business processes development;
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
  • Organizational and time management skills;
  • Senior-level documentation and presentation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders, users, etc.;
  • Strong team leadership skills that motivate and encourage collaboration;
  • Understanding of how to interpret customer business needs; and,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including business and technical writing skills.
