Eagle is currently seeking a Social Media Marketing Analyst for a six (6) month contract position, scheduled to begin immediately in Kitchener/Waterloo area.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Own the social media data analysis;
  • Undertake regular reporting of social media activities to provide interpretation, 
    guidance and recommendations to optimize the end-to-end campaign (including 
    segments, creative, content, networks, channels, tactics, etc.) on an ongoing 
  • Deliver detailed and actionable insights and strategic recommendations on social 
    media tactics;
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of social media campaigns where 
    post-click/ view conversion metrics are the objective;
  • Manage the social media budget and optimize KPI's across tactics to maximize 
    ROI; and,
  • Create visually appealing and easily to understand dashboards to present data 
    and insights to executives.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

  • University or college degree in digital marketing, business, or related fields;
  • 3-5 years’ experience in paid social media marketing;
  • Understanding of financial institutions product offerings is an asset;
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task;
  • Strong partnering approach with a commitment to meeting unique needs and 
  • Solid project management skills;
  • A client-first helpful and approachable attitude;
  • Thrives in a test and learn environment;
  • Ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgment;
  • Stay on top of industry trends and all applicable technologies, including 
    developments in – Ad Display, Social media, and digital consumer behavior;
  • Ability to speak and write in French is an asset;
  • Experience with managing social media accounts for brands with a clear focus 
    on leveraging data to drive business results;
  • Experience with managing social communities, developing, leading and 
    executing social media strategies and analyzing and reporting results;
  • Practical experience developing dashboards, executive level reports and 
    utilization of data for digital media optimization, including techniques for 
    measuring end-to-end effectiveness across digital marketing touch points;
  • Experience managing campaign budgets;
  • Experience in successfully managing agency and vendor relationships;
  • Working knowledge and expertise in strategies utilized to optimize performance 
    through multiple digital devices (desktop, mobile and tablet);
  • Strong teamwork orientation and proven leadership capabilities with an ability to 
    work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re- 
    evaluation of priorities;
  • Superior impact and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to lead large 
    scale enterprise wide initiatives;
  • Hands on experience for the required key platforms required (Facebook business 
    manager, Google Analytics, Adobe AdCloud, and Adobe Analytics); and,
  • Previous Digital Marketing agency experience is an asset.
