Eagle is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a ten (10) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Formulating a comprehensive list of stakeholders who will be engaged in the development of the work;
  • Identifying the level of critical information each stakeholder will have and the degree of impact they will have on them in order to determine their preferred level of involvement;
  • Meeting and extracting vital information from stakeholders as it relates to the different areas of responsibility across the client;
  • Developing a document containing the current state analysis;
  • Understanding the current state is required in order to make informed decisions on new business requirements;
  • Identifying and analyzing the business requirements for introduction of new product;
  • Conducting a review of business processes and identify impacts and gaps;
  • Identifying business impacts due to legislation, policy, and/or procedure;
  • Developing a business requirements document to document the problems, needs, objectives, goals, and detailed business requirements to support the strategic approach established to introduce the product at the client;
  • Identifying, analyzing, and documenting requirements for training and workforce development;
  • Developing/maintaining business impact assessment (BIA) methodology, templates, and forms to be used by Business Analysts in their work;
  • Assisting in development of comprehensive maintenance and servicing model;
  • Reviewing functional specifications, creating test plans, verifying operation during testing, and validating test results during testing to ensure manufacturer equipment is adequately tested with minimal risk to the client;
  • Facilitating and supporting the initial acceptance and final acceptance testing with the technical team;
  • Leading business participation in system testing, identify detects and report through-out testing, triage and resolve problems with manufacturers support;
  • Developing scope, test techniques, tasks, criteria for pass/fail, test suspension, environment and data requirements, deliverables and metrics to complete initial and final acceptance test;
  • Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solution;
  • Developing functional specifications and system design specifications, as required;
  • Leading testing effort in coordination with Project Manager;
  • Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner;
  • Assisting in the facilitation of team and stakeholder meetings;
  • Understanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully;
  • Managing the process of innovative change;
  • Facilitating effective team interactions with stakeholders;
  • Acknowledging and appreciating each team member's contributions;
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders that foster collaborative approach; and,
  • Communicating effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • A University Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required (a Degree in Information Technology may be considered);
  • Ten plus (10+) years’ experience with SDLC and five (5) years of experience with UML (Unified Modeling Language), specifically sequence, timing, interaction, actors, use cases, activity, state chart and deployment diagrams;
  • Proven experience documenting existing business process, use cases, developing new processes using Microsoft Visio;
  • Experience with QA of business analysts artifacts;
  • The ability to maintain continuity of business impact assessments (BIA's) across the program, or business groups;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Doc) and G-Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides, io.Draw, Drive, and Sites);
  • Possesses understanding in the areas of applications, database, and system design;
  • Understanding Wireless, Internet, Intranet, Client/Server, and Web Service architectures;
  • Understanding how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other;
  • The ability to generate enthusiasm among team members;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment with tight timelines;
  • Experience working on medium to large projects is required’
  • IIBA certification is preferred;
  • Experience with Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Version 2.0, Open Smart Charging Protocol (OSCP) Version 1.0 or equivalent charging standard is nice to have; and,
  • Experience with heavy electric vehicle technology SAE standards is nice to have.
