Eagle is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a six (6) month contract opportunity, scheduled to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Documenting and analyzing business system requirements in such a way that the business team members understand and approve them and other project team members can successfully use them to develop the solution;
  • Acting as a resource for the projects to coordinate/develop the business and change management deliverables as part of the solution being implemented;
  • Working collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders to achieve project objectives;
  • Analyzing business operations impacted by the projects to understand perceived and unperceived needs, and identify requirements to implement the application, in the three areas of people, process, and technology;
  • Collaborating with the project teams to determine the impact of technology changes on processes and people’s roles and responsibilities, evaluate alternatives, and design solutions;
  • Working with business owners and project teams to develop implementation approach, map requirements to application and processes, and prioritize activities;
  • Using PMO prescribed templates, delivering assigned activities which meet business and project goals and objectives. Use technical concepts and techniques such as business process modeling, context diagrams, use cases, and state transition diagrams to scope, communicate, and document requirements;
  • Documenting business rules, business process maps, procedures, and guidelines;
  • Working with project team to develop test plans, scripts, and scenarios that meet the scoped requirements. Help ensure software meets or exceeds specified requirements;
  • Coordinating Change Management activities and compose CM deliverables;
  • Current business process mapping (swim lanes);
  • Gap analysis of current business processes requirements vs application functionality;
  • Identification of future process requirements;
  • New business process design, business scenarios definition, business vs application requirements;
  • Statutory, regulatory, and SOx compliance;
  • Development of business process maps and procedures;
  • Development of business Test strategy and plan;
  • Design walkthrough;
  • Current stakeholder inventory and analysis;
  • Business Change analysis – Business change impact/risk assessment;
  • Stakeholder engagement plan;
  • Change Management strategy and planning;
  • New/Changes to role descriptions documentation/role mapping;
  • Business Communications plan;
  • Business process simulation coordination;
  • Training analysis, materials development, and delivery;
  • Change readiness assessment;
  • Application security/access requirements;
  • Business coordination for testing, training, and deployment;
  • Cutover business preparation, execution and post go live support; and,
  • New process activation.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • An Undergraduate Degree;
  • Ten (10) years’ experience;
  • Coding experience; and,
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL.
