Eagle is currently seeking a Compensation, Benefits & Pension – Oracle HCM Expert. This is an eleven (11) month, contract position scheduled to start in November.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing subject matter expertise on business requirements, business operations and potential dependencies/constraints based on the proposed Cloud solution, in the functional areas of compensation, benefits, pension and the integration with payroll;
  • Providing subject matter knowledge on best practice business processes and requirements in Comp/Ben and Pension;
  • Participating in fit/gap workshops, testing, and cutover activities;
  • Participating in data conversion validation and data reconciliation;
  • Assisting on Oracle HCM Cloud functional activities including fit/gap resolutions, RICEW design, configuration design, testing, etc.;
  • Participating in system, integration and User Acceptance testing;
  • Assisting in review of training manual materials;
  • Supporting change management activities;
  • Participating in cut over activities;
  • Participating in daily scrum activities and the overall scrum lifecycle;
  • Understanding the project objectives, alternative project methodologies and team ground rules;
  • Analysis work, providing recommended solution including impacts using a variety of tools including presentation, briefing notes and reports;
  • Communicating to and soliciting information from other experts when necessary;
  • Attending, participating and/or leading meetings and discussions;
  • Completing all assigned project deliverables and associated documentation at various levels of detail for appropriate stakeholder communications;
  • Risks and issues management including feedback and guidance to project team members and partners in a timely manner;
  • Working with Change Management Team, providing guidance and support of organizational change and communication;
  • Participating in activities for testing, materials development and training of the HRMS solution;
  • Understanding of the overall HRMS solution with a focus on your domain of expertise and interdependent partners (internal and external);
  • Completing and executing Knowledge Transfer and Sustainment plans to ensure the HR Department is able to support the HRMS solution and processes;
  • Understanding of the overall HRMS solution within the context of integrating to an existing ERP solution - Banner (Finance and Student);
  • Identify user’s requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, working methods and determines how users consume content;
  • Completing and executing knowledge transfer and sustainment plans to ensure HR and ITS department are able to support the HRMS solution and processes;
  • Communicating and soliciting information from a variety of technical and functional experts;
  • Attending, participating and/or leading meetings and discussions, particularly those that will have a high disruption factor to the community of users;
  • Collaborating with the Core HR SMEs on the design, build and test of the Oracle HCM Solution;
  • Working with the Change Management Team, providing guidance and support of organizational change and communications based on the level of change impact/disruption of the HRMS system and/or dependent systems; and,
  • Participating in activities for materials development and training of the HRMS solution.

Skills and Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Systems Analysis or related field;
  • Five to ten (5-10) years of HR and business/industry experience;
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Fusion, Cloud application version R11 or greater;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal and customer services skills;
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, execute many complex tasks simultaneously, anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind set; and,
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
